Full Moon Hunting

Ry & I set out yesterday to find a sweet spot to chill & witness the rising of the beautiful moon goddess.  I woke up from an apt dream that reminded us to look towards the East so we set off in that direction on a clear blue cloudless day. We drove past Mt Hood & after several diversions, we pulled off along the side of a mostly deserted road in Wapinitia. As dusk set in & the skies turned cotton candy pink, lavender & blue, we caught the first glimpse of the crescent eclipsed moon.  We followed a dream, went East & witnessed a magical event unfold before our eyes. Here are some photos of our full moon hunting. Wishing everyone a beautiful week of self reflection, discovery & manifestation.

a path with heart

“A path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you . . . Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself alone, one question . . . Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't it is of no use.”― Carlos Castaneda

I've asked myself this question for what seems an eternity, 'What is my path?'  My walks on the beach, through a park or climbing a mountain gives me good footing for my mind and sometimes the path reveals itself to you, a path with heart, the only kind to take...Aloha Friday!
