A beautiful amalgam of antique & vintage Americana, Belgian & Japanese, this rail worthy hobo bag is ready to go wherever the line takes you.... A labor of love, this beauty is a handmade patchwork of antique American ticking stripe, vintage Belgian linen, antique Japanese indigo with a recycled navy blue leather outer pocket & lined in durable heavy weight organic flax linen. The straps are a sturdy, rich, dark cognac brown repurposed leather. Hand stitched details done up right with Irish waxed line thread in navy & denim blues and browns. The interior boasts one large split seamed pocket & a smaller one perfect for your phone within easy reach. An antique brass magnetic snap encased in antique Japanese indigo patches keep everything closed up & secure. The bag is a bit askew, very multi-cultural, classic and wabi-sabi all at once. Take this one of a kind beauty on your journey near & far and enjoy every second of the ride!

Made with love in the Pacific Northwest

**Please note that all of my goods are hand made using mostly recycled, vintage and/or new eco, sustainable, organic (as much as possible) material. I spend many many countless hours putting in all my love into each & every piece I make starting from hand picking the fabric, washing & drying, designing, drafting & cutting the pattern to sewing, stitching, ironing, hammering and finally hand stamping the logo. As with a lot of vintage or recycled materials, there are inherent markings that some may consider "flaws" ~ I personally find that it's these beautiful little "scars" that give each piece it's own special character, imparting a uniqueness that I could not create with a perfect pristine brand new piece of fabric. I love the perfection of imperfection and I don't discard fabrics due to these "scars". Please keep this perspective in mind if you are thinking of purchasing any of my goods.
